Audio-Visual Control System Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Audio-Visual Control System Programmer to join our dynamic team. As a critical member of our organisation, you will play a pivotal role in designing, programming, and commissioning audio-visual control systems on projects across the UK and beyond.
The Audio-Visual Control System Programmer at Controllabs will be responsible for programming and commissioning control systems for a variety of audio-visual equipment and technologies, including Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, and Kramer systems. Additionally, this role will require on-site commissioning tasks for audio-visual installations across the UK and other locations across the world so global travel will be required from time to time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design complete audio visual solutions as per clients requirements
- Design and program audio-visual control systems using Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, and Kramer technologies.
- Collaborate with project managers and technicians to define system requirements.
- Conduct on-site commissioning and troubleshooting as needed for audio-visual installations.
- Ensure that systems meet client specifications and perform optimally.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in control system technologies.
- Provide technical support to clients and end-users when necessary.
- Ensure any relevant support desk tickets are managed and dealt with in a timely manner
- Assist in other areas of the business where required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in programming audio-visual control systems.
- Proven experience in designing audio-visual systems.
- Proficiency in programming Crestron, Extron, AMX, QSC, Biamp, and Kramer systems. (At Least 3 of these skills preferred)
- Strong knowledge of audio-visual equipment and integration.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Must be based in the United Kingdom.
